Self Help Books
Prosperity consciousness refers to the individual’s capacity to act as if it is possible to create or manifest that which they desire. Most of these self help books take “prosperity” in the broadest sense, meaning not only wealth, but also a sense of fullness and freedom.
Too many of us secretly believe that there is not enough of what we desire in the world – whether it is love or money or freedom or permission. So we develop strategies to cope with this unacknowledged disappointment, such as the fabled “sour grapes” strategy. Yet these work-around strategies serve to guarantee that what we desire will not be available!
These are self help books of encouragement: to dream, create, desire, and dare to reach for what you want in life.
